Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about tile materials, warranties, maintenance, and our installation process.
Ceramic: made from clay fired at high temperatures; a wide range of colors and patterns; durable for most indoor use, though not as strong as porcelain; higher water absorption means more prone to staining in wet areas; the most affordable option.
Porcelain: denser clay fired at higher temperatures; often mimics natural stone or wood; highly durable for indoor and outdoor use, resistant to scratches, stains, and moisture; low water absorption; more expensive than ceramic.
Natural Stone (marble, granite, slate, limestone, travertine): quarried with unique color, pattern, and texture for a luxurious look; durability varies — granite is very durable, marble is softer and needs more care; water absorption varies and typically needs sealing; usually the most expensive due to limited availability and labor-intensive processing.
